Learning Outcomes for the Learner: Students will be able to:

• Explain the components of a habitat.
• Identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited.
• List down the different types of habitats.
• Describe the features of the main habitats around the world.
• State the features of Forests, Rainforests, Desert,  Grasslands, polar Region, Wetlands and Ocean Habitats habitats.
• Identify and name a variety of plants and animals that live in forests, Rainforests, Deserts, Grasslands, polar Region, Wetlands and Ocean Habitats habitats.
• Compare Arctic vs Antarctic
• Carry out related Reading Comprehensions.

In addition,

• Children will also revise on Carnivorous, Herbivorous and Omnivorous animals.
• Children will experience ‘Read Aloud’ sessions and carry out discussions on stories.
• Since all our modules have an integrated approach to learning, the learners will learn much more than just this.
